• Wear eye protection
• "WET FLOOR" sign

• Sweeping:
   
  • Remove trash
  • Remove large debris from the floor
  • Remove walk-off mats
  • Use putty knife to remove anything stuck to the floor
  • Dust mop on an angle away from the wall
  • Work in ‘S’ pattern
  • Use dust pan and corn broom to remove sweepings
     
• Auto scrubbing:
   
  • Place "WET FLOOR" signs wherever necessary
  • Dispense cleaner into automatic scrubber following label instructions
  • Apply cleaner, scrub and pick up in one operation
  • Mop the corners and rinse the equipment
     
• Wet Mopping:
   
  • Set out "WET FLOOR" sign
  • Remove debris, walk-off mats and any objects stuck on the floor
  • Dust mop
  • Dispense floor cleaner into bucket, mix half-and-half with cold water
  • Dip mop and wring
  • Mop in a ‘figure 8’ pattern with overlaps
  • Rinse mop when both sides are soiled
  • Repeat the described procedure until floor is completely clean
  • Let floor dry
